An update on Ozzies eye. We have spoken to Christine from Willows she has been in touch with her collegues in America and there opinion was that the tumor is quite large and as it would be possible to operate on the eye and remove the growth, there is a high risk that some of the Tumor cells may be left after surgery so that in the future it will grow back again and the eye would then have to removed. We have now made a desision that as he shows no signs of his eye bothering him at all at the moment, rather than put him through the trauma of an operation which we know he will not take very well and then have to go through it again if it doesn't work is to monitor the eye regularly every 2 months or so and to check the pressure in the eye to make sure it is not giving him any problems, and when it becomes too big and is a bother to him then we will have to have his eye removed.
